Patch Poll Winner: Best Cake

This week, Patch readers voted for .

The results are in and the came in first place with 31 percent of the votes.

When you think of a diner, you may not think of tasty cakes, but the Suburban Diner's menu boasts strawberry shortcake, black forest cake, chocolate layer cake, chocolate mousse cake, German chocolate cake, carrot cake, and assorted cheese cakes in addition to its variety of other pies and baked goods.

The "other" choice in this week's poll came in second place with 26 percent of the votes, however voters did not indicate in the comments section where else in Lower Southampton the best cake could be found.

 and  tied for third place each receiving 15 percent of votes.
