November 18: NHS Football Plays in the Second Round of Playoffs

Here are your five things for November 18, 2011.

1. According to Weather.com, we will be seeing a mainly sunny sky with a high of 44 degrees and winds at 5 to 10 mph. Overnight, there will be clear skies with a low of 32 degrees and light and variable winds.

2. Today is National Vichyssoise Day. Vichyssoise is a cold, creamy potato and leek soup.

3. The PTO is hosting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at . Tickets will be available for purchase at the door and are $5 per person, which includes a pretzel, popcorn, a drink and five games of bingo.

4. The Bucks County Zoo & Conservation Society is hosting . While the organization has temporarily closed its doors to the public, the Zoo will continue to educate and heighten the awareness of the public about protecting the earth's environment. All proceeds will be used for the Zoo's Education and Conservation Programs

5. The Neshaminy Redskins Football Team will be traveling to North Penn High School for the second round of District I playoffs. The game begins at 7 p.m. and admission is $5.
