The parents of a 20-year-old college student from Yardley who fell to his death at a fraternity party have settled with Suds Beer Store in Trevose for $375,000.
They also settled with the University of Pennsylvania for an undisclosed amount and the Phi Kappa Sigma house for $3 million, according to Action News.
The lawsuit stated that Matthew Crozier feel 30 feet from a stairway at the frat house after a New Year's Eve party in 2011.
In addition, the lawsuit alleges that Crozier was allowed to buy beer at thebeer store on the 2400 block of Old Lincoln Highway and underage drink at the party.
At the time, Crozier had been a student-athlete at John Carroll University in Ohio.
Action News reported that family lawyers stated that a Penn spokeswoman said the university could not comment on the confidential settlement.
