January 2: The Last Day of Holiday Break

Here are your five things for January 2, 2012.

1. According to Weather.com, today is going to be sunny, along with a few afternoon clouds with the high reaching about 40 degrees and winds between 15 to 25 mph. Overnight, there will be clear skies and the low near 25 degrees. 

2. Today is National Cream Puff Day and Run up the Flagpole and See if Anyone Salutes Day, which, according to Holiday Insights, is an expression meaning to "float an idea to see what people think, or if they notice." 

3. Today is the last day of Neshaminy School District's holiday break. Students return to school tomorrow morning.

4. The Lower Southampton Township is closed again today. It will reopen tomorrow.
