Fundraiser Held for Boy Paralyzed in Bus Crash

A few dozen teens and adults from Bucks County were injured after a charter bus crashed in Boston Feb 2. Matt Cruz was the most seriously injured.

A fundraiser for Neshaminy High School student Matt Cruz, who was paralyzed from the chest down in a bus accident during an outing in Boston, has been organized for 7 p.m. Saturday, according to Phillyburbs.com.

In April, the Philadelphia driver of the bus that crashed, injuring local students, was charged for driving negligently by Massachusetts’s officials

The fundraiser will be at Our Lady of Grace School, 300 Hulmeville Ave. in Penndel, where Matt was an altar server.
