Friends of Street Road Crash Victim Fundraise for Funeral Costs

Friends of Kyle Schwab are fundraising to help his family with funeral costs.

Trevose resident and son of a Bensalem police officer Kyle Schwab was tragically killed Friday, April 6 .

Now his friends are honoring his memory while raising funds for Schwab's family.

According to a flyer posted in the Trevose Starbucks on Horizon Boulevard, Schwab's friends are selling Kyle Schwab Memorial Wristbands for $5 each to help his family with funeral expenses.

To purchase a wristband, go to Pay Pal and send $5 to seller Minnie61@aol.com. According to the flyer, the wristband will be mailed in five to seven days.

Schwab's friends are also holding a happy hour fundraiser at Kildares in Manayunk Saturday, April 14. A portion of the $20 entrance fee will also go toward funeral costs.

The 22-year-old Archbishop Wood High School graduate had worked as a service technician and apprentice at Champion Chimney and Masonry in Philadelphia. According to the flyer, Schawb was "good at everything he attempted to do" and he had "accomplished much in his very short life."
