Editor Leaving Lower Southampton Patch

After almost two years with Lower Southampton Patch, editor Nicole Jenet will be moving on to new adventures.

After almost two years with Patch, I have decided to move on to new things. My last day as editor of Lower Southampton Patch is this Friday, Jan. 25.

Next week, I will begin a new adventure as a publication manager with Yellowbook.

Serving as editor of Lower Southampton Patch has given me the opportunity to learn about the community and the people who make it great. The experience has been very gratifying, both professionally and personally.

I hope that I've been able to contribute by informing people about things they want to know, covering local issues and providing a place where people connect and discuss things that matter.

I launched Lower Southampton Patch in May 2011 and have been running the site ever since. I would like to personally thank all of the readers and the community members, township and Neshaminy School District officials who have helped make it a successful site.

As for what's next for Lower Southampton Patch, I'll be leaving the site in great hands. News aficionado Tom Sofield will be taking over this site as well as the Levittown Patch. He is an excellent journalist and is extremely passionate about Patch.

Even though I am moving on, I hope you will continue to turn to Lower Southampton Patch and its Facebook page for your community's news.

For those who wish to keep in touch, I can be reached through LinkedIn.

Thank you Lower Southampton!
