December 30: National Bicarbonate of Soda Day

1. According to Weather.com, today is going to be sunny along with a few clouds with a high of 53 degrees. Overnight, there will be mostly cloudy skies with a low of 41 degrees.

2. Today is National Bicarbonate of Soda Day, or Baking Soda Day, which celebrates the many benefits and uses of Bicarbonate of Soda. Tomorrow, New Year's Eve, is naturally National Champagne Day!

3. Neshaminy School District's holiday vacation is still in effect and students do not have school today. Students will return to school Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

4. The Lower Southampton Township is closed again today. It will reopen Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
