Business networking in Feasterville starts here...

FBA is a great way to meet and greet with your local and state representatives also, who are often in attendance.

Feasterville has a unique combination of small town feel and big city convenience.

One of the things I like the most about it is the ability for the small business owner to connect with other local businesses on an even level fairly easily. Nothing is more difficult for a small business than finding new customers, clients or patients to service or sell their product to.

There are a lot of ways to find new business such as promotions and advertising, but none that are more cost effective than word of mouth referrals or referral marketing. And people refer people they know to people they know. That being said there are a number of groups that the small business person can get involved with right away, without going very far.

For example the one that has been around the longest:

Feasterville Business Association has been a staple here since June 1949. The Association in 1949 set the following goals: push for a traffic light at Bustleton Pike and Street Road, both two lane blacktop highways; improve the state highway system; secure good bus service; bring a commercial bank to the community, add additional fire hydrants and plan for a 4th of July parade. A lot certainly has changed since then!

Dinner meetings are held monthly and are a combination business meeting/social event. Members meet at Twining Hall on Street Road early in the evening on the first Wednesday of each month first to socialize, then to enjoy a meal while discussing the business of local commerce.

An interesting speaker of local appeal usually headlines the event while dessert is served.  FBA is a great way to meet and greet with your local and state representatives also, who are often in attendance. Although fundraising is not the focus of FBA, they still manage to donate many thousands of dollars each year to local charities and organizations in need through an annual golf outing.
