Townhome Construction Project to Seek Final Approvals

The Lower Southampton township manager expects the final approval request for the project to appear before the board of supervisors within the next three months.

The promise of a new townhome community has been emblazoned on the corner of Street and Philmont roads for quite some time, but the wait may be coming to an end shortly.

Representatives from County Builders went before the Lower Southampton zoning board last week to apply for variances. 

Lower Southampton township manager John McMenamin predicts that the request for final approval to construct the Emerald Walk neighborhood across the street from TD Bank on Philmont to appear before the board of supervisors within the next three months.

A planning meeting is scheduled for March 14 at the township building at 7 p.m., where the public is invited to review the final plans and make comments.
