Impact Thrift Stores is hosting a creative Halloween costume challenge. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Impact Thrift Stores is challenging shoppers to take the DIY costume route with the chance to win a prize.

Interested? Take a photo of the Impact Thrift Store costume and email it to jill.tarabar@impactthrift.org by Wednesday, Oct. 17. The winner, which will be chosen at random, will receive a $25 gift certificate to Impact's stores.

For shoppers not interested in making a costume from scratch, Impact stores also have a variety of new, ready-to-wear Halloween costumes, according to the non-profit's website.
