Impact Thrift Feasterville Announces Grand Opening

The newest Impact Thrift Store location will hold its grand opening April 21.

Impact Thrift Stores has announced that  for the new will be held Saturday, April 21.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Impact executive team, Lower Bucks Chamber of Commerce Representatives and other local dignitaries. The event will continue through the day with music, refreshments, appearances by local media personalities, give-aways, activities for the kids and shopping.

According to an Impact-issued press release, there will be special discounts for shoppers during the grand opening and everyone will be able to enter to win door prizes all day. In addition, the first 100 shoppers (one per family) will receive a free gift.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be balloon sculptures and activities for children.

Then at 1 p.m., there will be a runway fashion show of Impact Thrift fashions including men, women and children and a "spectacular finale." The fashion show will be hosted and emceed by local media personality Sheila Fortson-Williams.

According to the release, Fortson-Williams has been recognized by Glamour Magazine Online, The Philadelphia Daily News, Lehigh Valley Magazine, and additional blogs and publications, and is an accomplished media professional known to many as “The Glam Thrifter”, thanks to her ability to find looks that fashion lovers adore at rock bottom prices.

Fortson-Williams is a radio and TV host, author, and the owner of Hidden Glam Boutique, in Ambler.

She will be bringing her more than 10 years of combined retail and media experience as Impact Thrift Store’s first fashion ambassador. She will be sharing tips and ideas on Impact's website, hosting workshops, supporting Impact Thrift events, all while honoring our organization’s mission of supporting charities in need.
