FBA Honors Person of the Year

The Feasterville Business Association will be honoring Feasterville resident Dan Maggiani as Person of the Year for his long-time service to the FBA and his ongoing efforts in raising funds for communal and charitable endeavors.

The Feasterville Business Association will be honoring Feasterville resident Dan Maggiani as Person of the Year at the association's 2012 Spring Frolic to be held at Brook Side Manor at  Saturday, April 21.

According to an FBA press release, Maggiani, who has spent years in the financial services industry, is currently president of Payroll Service Solutions, LLC, of Northeast Philadelphia, which provides payroll services for small and midsize businesses.

In making the announcement, FBA President Ray Greenberg says that Maggiani is being singled out for special recognition for his long-time service to the FBA and his ongoing efforts in raising funds for communal and charitable endeavors. A member of the professional business association for 18 years, he has been a continuously active as part of the FBA’s golf event committee, which is the major fund raising vehicle for the organization. Over the years the golf committee has raised some $200,000 which has been donated to numerous area charities and community organizations. It also funds college scholarships for high school seniors and the .

In addition, he has been active in the area’s Chambers of Commerce including, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber, Northeast Philadelphia Chamber, Main Line and Eastern Montgomery Chambers. He also has participated for many years in organized adult baseball competition.

A native of the Frankford section of Philadelphia, he is a graduate of North Catholic High School and also was educated at Temple University and Drexel University in Philadelphia.

He and his wife, Colleen, have three children, Dan, Tim and Katie.
