Abington Health Opens Urgent Care Center in Feasterville

The Urgent Care Center is staffed by board certified emergency medicine physicians and offers complete X-ray services for sprains and breaks.

Abington Health is pleased to announce the opening of a new Urgent Care Center at 1045 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville. This Urgent Care Center will provide medical services to treat minor illnesses and injuries, preventive services, school and sports physicals and diagnostic testing.

“Urgent Care Centers are an important piece in our outpatient strategy,” says Meg McGoldrick, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Abington Health. “Consumers are demanding convenient, high quality, low cost options to Emergency Departments and Urgent Care Centers fulfill that need for conditions that are not life-threatening.”

The Urgent Care Center is staffed by board certified emergency medicine physicians and offers complete X-ray services for sprains and breaks. In addition, laboratory services are also available for routine diagnostic testing.

The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. No appointments are necessary, in fact, walk-ins are encouraged. Most insurance plans are accepted. 

The Abington Health Urgent Care Centers will provide immunizations, school and sports physicals, and learner’s permit physicals and treat the following illnesses and injuries:

  • Sprains, strains or broken bones
  • Cuts, wounds or burns
  • Eye or ear infections
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, heartburn, vomiting or diarrhea)

Abington Health will open a second Urgent Care Center at 1842 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA later this spring.
