Sarah Palin to Kick Off Book Tour in Pennsylvania

Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be at the Barnes & Noble in Bethlehem Township, PA, on Tuesday, the store confirmed.

Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will kick off her book tour for "Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas" at a Barnes & Noble in the Lehigh Valley next week.

Palin, the former Alaska governor, will be at the Barnes & Noble, 4445 Southmont Way, off Freemansburg Avenue and Route 33 in Bethlehem Township at 6 p.m. Tuesday to sign copies of her book, the store confirmed.

"Good Tidings" will be released Tuesday.

Palin announced the book tour on her Facebook page.

"This book is not about isolated trivialities. It's not really just about gingerbread cookies, or stockings hung by the chimney with care, or the big fat man with the long white beard," she wrote. "It's not about one holiday at all. It's about that little baby wrapped in swaddling clothes who arrived long before hope and change became political manipulations. It's about Christ and our ability to worship Him freely. It's about America, and what liberty truly means in our day-to-day lives.

"It's an empowering message that can change your life and help rebuild what is GOOD in this world!"

The tour will end Dec. 7 at the Barnes & Noble in Roanoke, Va., according to an Associated Press story on huffingtonpost.com. Like she did on other book tours, Palin will skip major metro markets such as New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago. He stops will include military posts in Fort Campbell, Ky., and Fort Benning, Ga.

Palin's other books are "Going Rogue" and "America by Heart."
