Lower Southampton Police Chief William Wiegman told Patch that all police officers have been trained in Active Shooter Response. He also said that officers have been reminded on this training they received in light of last week's shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary.

omg, really? I always thought it was faint, taunt, or charge the gunman head on from long distances. Glad they spent the time and money to teach us this.
