Members of the Feasterville Business Association, township officials, police officers and members of the community gathered outside of the Lower Southampton Township Library to light a tree in honor of fallen police officers.

The tree will remain lit throughout the holiday season in honor of officers that made the ultimate sacrifice. A tree will also be lit at the Lower Southampton Police Department during the holidays.

Trevose United Methodist Church's Reverend Herb Phillips and Scottsville United Methodist Church's Pastor Don Keller delivered the invocations.

The group sang holiday songs after the tree was lit and the Lower Southampton Library hosted a reception after.

This was the Feasterville Business Association's 11th annual Project Blue Light Holiday Tree Lighting, which was attended by FBA event Chairpersons Mike Hughes and John Brinkmann; FBA President Ray Greenberg; Lower Southampton Police Chief William Wiegman; Bucks County Sheriff Edward “Duke” Donnelly; PA State Representative Frank Farry; Lower Southampton Township supervisor and an FBA executive board member Ed Shannon; Township chairman John McMenamin and supervisors Joe McFadden and Keith Wesley along with members of the community.
