Who said chocolate was just for eating?

The Chocolate Spa is the ultimate in decadence and luxury at The Hotel Hershey.

The spa offers a large variety of traditional massages, hydrotherapy, facials, and signature treatments like their Whipped Cocoa Bath and Cocoa Facial Experience. They also feature Cuban-themed treatments like the Mojito Sugar Scrub. The treatment is inspired by Milton Hershey’s love of Cuba, which supplied the sugar for his chocolate company and where he owned sugar mills and plantations from 1916 to 1946.

This year, The Spa at The Hotel Hershey celebrates its 10th anniversary with A Decade of Chocolate Decadence.  

Some of the featured treatments are:

• Chocolate & Roses Decadence Body Treatment – allows one to indulge in a decadent blend of red roses and dark chocolate. This new treatment will hydrate and refine your skin to a flawless finish with lush, nutrient loaded, organic roses, herbs and chocolate!  This features a full-body exfoliation, wrap, and moisturizing application.
• Chocolate Decadence Day Spa Package - features a whipped cocoa bath, chocolate sugar scrub, chocolate fondue wrap, cocoa massage, cocoa facial experience, lunch in oasis, and a chocolate martini.

While you are visiting the spa, make sure and stop by the Oasis, a lounge and restaurant. The sanctuary-like retreat overlooks the lovely gardens of The Hotel Hershey. Spa guests can relax in the comfort of their spa robes while surrounded by Marrakech-inspired tiles, crystal chandeliers, and comfortable lounge furniture. A nice selection of muffins, fruit, hot cocoa, and other hot and cold drinks are available while guests relax. A selection of healthy lunch choices is available to go along with the spa experience. The buffet menu, available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., features juices, salads and healthy wraps.

While I was there, I experienced the Chocolate Bean Polish, which is a full body exfoliant. Coupled with a hot steam and a cup of tea in the elegant relaxing room, it was an unforgettable and lovely experience.
