After days of hype, Lower Southampton awoke to find a healthy covering of heavy, wet snow outside.

The storm dumped several inches of snow by early Saturday morning.

Township police asked residents to remove vehicles parked on streets within an hour of the snow starting, according to the Feasterville Fire Company. The request was in an effort to ease plowing and emergency service responce in the weather.

Lower Southampton, state and private crews worked Saturday morning to clear local roads and parking lots.

The storm put the county under a winter storm warning and forced Neshaminy School District to cancel all Friday afternoon events.

The overnight snow is part of a larger system which has crippled major cities like Boston and New York with more than a foot of snow.

Let us know what it looks like outside your home. Do the roads need to be plowed? Have you lost power? Upload photos or video and tell us in the comments what the conditions are like in your Lower Southampton neighborhood.
