A Feasterville woman was injured Wednesday when an unknown actor threw a rock through her car's windshield in the Chalet Village parking lot.
A woman was attempting to parallel park her car in the Chalet Village parking lot Wednesday night when someone threw a rock through her windshield, hitting her head.
According to the police report, the incident occurred at about 8 p.m. when the victim returned home from work. She suffered a contusion to the left side of her head from the rock and was treated on the scene.
When asked if she has had issues with anyone recently, the victim told police that she had problems with tenants in some of the surrounding units over juveniles being disorderly in those units. She also stated that she had an issue with another tenant about a year ago on the other side of the complex when she lived there.
Evidence police collected at the scene indicated that the unknown actor was hiding and waiting for the victim to arrive home. It appeared that the actor was crouching or kneeling in front of the vehicle parked directly in front of the victim's.
Based on the investigation, the actor appeared to have intentionally aimed for the victim and the damage to the windshield was directly where the victim was sitting.
The estimated cost to repair the windshield is $1,000.
