Poll: How Would You Rate PECO's Storm Response?

Are you satisfied with PECO's response to the damage and power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy?

Hurricane Sandy came through the area and ripped down trees and knocked down power lines.

Because of this, power outages have been widespread across the tri-state area. In Bucks County alone 119,000 customers still didn't have power at noon Thursdayn and 4,096 customers in Lower Southampton are still without power.

Many parts of the township are still in the dark and a number of Lower Southampton Patch Facebook users said they still have yet to see PECO crews in their neighborhood.

So, based on your experiences, how would you rate PECO's response to Hurricane Sandy? Let us know by voting in the poll below and by leaving a comment.

Peco and their sister crews are doing a phenomenal job. Most people have no idea how much wire was damaged in addition to blown transformers. Trees must be removed.... As frustrating as it is, the process cannot be rushed or it can back feed into homes and start fires. Also, remember if you are using a generator- please turn off your main house breaker to avoid problems when your power is restored.

Using a generator & mains on would be a problem if your backfeeding through an outlet.

If I had power in my all electric house, I'd like them better. It seems like Woodlyn Crossing ALWAYS is the first to lose power and the last to get it back. This has been an ongoing problem for the 36 years I've lived there!
