A Lower Southampton man reported to police that he was assaulted and robbed earlier this week.
Lower Southampton Police were dispatched to his home on Heights Lane Monday, Dec. 3 at 8:54 p.m. where he told them he got a ride home from two men. He said he entered his home with one of the men and "the next thing he knew" he was being beaten up on his kitchen floor.
The complainant, who was bloody when speaking to officers, said that this man hit him over the head with a frying pan and also grabbed a knife off of the counter, but never used it as a weapon.
This man took a grandfather clock and vacuum cleaner from the complainant's house.
According to the police report, the complainant's story changed several times and he appeared intoxicated. He registered .17 on a breath test.
