Police Investigate Fatal Traffic Accident; Seek Witnesses
The Lower Southampton Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred early Wednesday morning.
A fatal traffic accident occurred at about 1:18 a.m. Wednesday morning when 48-year-old Ivyland man was ejected from his vehicle after losing control crossing the train tracks near Bustleton Pike and Renee Circle, police reported.
According to Lieutenant Ted Krimmel, Jr., the vehicle then caught fire.
Lower Southampton Police responded along with and companies. The man was transported to St. Mary's Medical center by Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad where he later succumbed to his injuries.
