Police Charge Two Woman with Retail Theft
Two women were charged with retail theft after being arrested at the Neshaminy Mall Macy's.

On Thursday, Nov. 15, Bensalem police made the following arrests:
At 3:01 p.m., a 28-year-old Langhorne woman was arrested in the 2300 block of Street Road and charged with retail theft. She was issued a citation.
At 7:35 p.m., a 42-year-old Trevose woman was arrested in the Macy’s Department Store, Neshaminy Mall and charged with retail theft. She was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Although the police didn't include specifics of the incidents, the difference could be the cost or value of the stolen items. Stealing more expensive or valuable items usually results in a higher charge. One of the women could have tried to steal something $50 or under, which is why she only received a citation. But if the other woman stole something worth hundreds or thousands of dollars, it could explain why she was sent to prison.
