Neshaminy Elementary Schools Help Hurricane Sandy Victims
Two Neshaminy elementary schools worked to raise money and food donations following Hurricane Sandy.
Students, staff and parents of Samuel Everitt and Albert Schweitzer elementary schools worked to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Samuel Everitt’s entrance foyer was filled with an enormous amount of donated food items that came from the school's families and staff. Many local food pantry shelves were depleted due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy.
Over a three day period, canned and boxed non perishable food items were brought in and placed in large boxes. In the end, twenty six boxes were delivered to the Appletree section of the Salvation Army in Levittown.
Students at Albert Schweitzer held a Red Cross Pajama Day and raised $1,021.53 for Hurricane Sandy victims.
