Money, Alcohol, Video Games Stolen During Restaurant Burglary
The Mink Restaurant & Lounge was broken into early Thursday morning, police said.
Two suspects broke into Mink Restaurant & Lounge on Bustleton Pike at 2:00 a.m. on Thursday and made off with hundreds of dollars in cash, alcohol and video games.
According to police, cash was taken from three cash registers and a deposit bag in an office. Money was also stolen from an amusement game at the bar, police said.
The suspects made off with two bottles of Petrone Tequila and video games stored under the bar. An Xbox gaming system and its controllers were taken from a downstairs area, a police incident report stated.
Security cameras show the restaurant and bar was entered through a rear door adjacent to Woodland Road, police said.
About 45 minutes before the Mink burglary, the Kyoto Restaurant down Bustleton Pike was nearly burglarized.
Video surveillance from the Japanese restaurant shows two suspects trying to gain access to the building with an “object,” police said.
According to authorities, the suspects did not get into the business, which is located next to the Dunkin’ Donuts that was burglarized at around the same time.
Police have not said whether any of the incidents are connected.
