Lower Southampton to Offer Free Electronics Recycling this Weekend

Lower Southampton Township will be collecting electronics for recycling for free Saturday, Oct. 20.

In honor of Recycling Day "Anything with a Plug," Lower Southampton Township will be accepting electronics for recycling from residents at no cost.

At the township buidling Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. all township residents and employees will have the opportunity to recycle obsolete electronics for free by eForce Compliance, Philadelphia's first certified Responsible Recycler and the area's only e-Steward certified recycler.

The township will accept all electronic devices with a plug, except large appliances and smoke detectors. In addition, all data media will be destroyed or wiped from electronics. Items that will be accepted for recycling include: obsolete computers, CRT monitors, cameras, cell phones, fax machines, scanners, printers, TV’s, computer mice, wires and keyboards.

I didn't realize how far down those ads were going to move that map down on the page! You can bring computers, CRT monitors, cameras, cell phones, fax machines, scanners, printers, TV’s, computer mice, wires and keyboards to be recycled this weekend.
