An Feastervile Kmart employee was caught stealing from the retail store.
Since the holidays, the Feasterville Kmart loss prevention staff has been investigating an employee for an ongoing issue with missing merchandise and gift cards from the register.
When confronted, the 18-year-old Richboro resident confessed to loss prevention that he had stolen merchandise, gift cards and cash from Kmart.
Prior to police arrival, the employee wrote a confession statement of stealing $146.74 in miscellaneous store merchandise and $65 in cash and gift cards.
He will be charged with retail theft via mail for the value of property taken.

All those cameras are not real. Only maybe 1/4 of them have functioning cameras. If he would not have stolen money and just stuck to merchandise he would never have been caught. Chances are they caught a shortage in his register and investigated from there.

Stealing is an addictive disease. You do it once and when your not caught, it gets easier and easier. Consciounce stops feeling guilty and it becomes second nature. You start with small amounts then more and more. Eventually, every theif gets caught. Unfortuantly Im speaking from personal experience. I hope this person learns from this.
