Lower Southampton Police are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter, wheels and tires from Kustom Auto Body on the 400 block of Philmont Avenue.

The location is described as an overflow parking lot for Colonial Nissan with a 6-foot barbed wire fence around the perimeter with the exception of the far south east corner along the rail road tracks and the north side of the property that runs along a driveway

According to the police report, an unknown actor entered the fenced in lot and removed four 18-inch wheels/tires from a 2014 Nissan Rogue. The actor also stole the center caps, sensors, nuts and lugs from the vehicle.

The total cost of the stolen items and the labor is $4,500. 

In addition, the Colonial Nissan service manager reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a 2012 Nissan Murano, which was stored at Kustom Auto.

The cost of the catalytic converter and pipes is $800.
