Visit Bucks County Welcomes New Members to Board of Directors
(Bucks County, PA) Visit Bucks County (VBC), the official tourism promotion agency of Bucks County, announces the addition of two Board Members: Pam Carroll and Molly Lowell. Carroll and Lowell will serve four years with their elected positions.
Pam Carroll, Marketing Director at Pearl S. Buck International, has been a strategic marketing specialist for more than two decades. Prior to joining organization, Pam was President of the Bucks County Women’s Business Forum’s Board; worked with the Bucks County Women’s Fund’s to launch a Speakers Bureau; and participated in Board Leadership/Professional Development curriculum with the LaSalle Non-Profit Center as well as the Bucks County Center for Non-Profit Management. Pam resides in Jamison with her three children.
Molly Lowell currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations and Communications for the Bucks County Historical Society. The organization runs the nationally-recognized Mercer and Fonthill Museums in Doylestown. She has been with the Historical Society for 23 years and in the museum field for 36 years. Prior positions include the Director of The Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums, Director of the Federation of Historical Services and Director of the Adirondack Center Museum. Molly sits on the Board of the Doylestown Business and Community Alliance and is involved with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce. She resides in Doylestown with her husband.
VBC is governed by a board of directors, comprised of eleven members appointed by the County Commissioners and seven members elected by marketing partners. Visit Bucks County is comprised of nine full time and 18 part time staff.
